Miami may self-impose a bowl ban to as a preemptive punishment for forthcoming NCAA sanctions.
"If I remember right, we made the decision last year after we became bowl eligible," UM acting athletic director Blake James told The Miami Herald on Friday. "I think that would be the plan.
"You address the situations as they occur."
Last year, Miami made its announcement the day after it qualified for a bowl with a victory Nov. 19 at South Florida in Tampa.

Seeing as we beat gt and unc is ineligible, we're pretty much locks to represent the Coastal this year, again. The only way I don't see us making it is if... actually, I can't see us not making it. Therefore, I figured I'd share this "tip" with TKP community:
ACCCG tickets are pretty cheap right now through ticketmaster. Stub hub has similar seats that ticketmaster has, but of course, stubhub's are double the price of ticketmaster (and I'm sure this trend will continue as we approach Dec 1).

The Opponent: We all know what happened back on October 1. It was the nadir of Virginia Tech’s season, while Clemson appeared to reach its apex in the 23-3 victory at Lane Stadium.
