Exum Once Again Owning the Twitterverse

Did anyone else catch the little exchange between Antone, Shane Beamer, Moorehead and Trey Gresh? I love the trash talking.
For those not on the twitters:
1. I appreciate how the coaching staff has stuck by me throughout my injury. Very supportive. Loyalty goes a long ways! In my book at least.— Antone Exum Jr. (@IAmSwag1) February 27, 2013

Another week, time for another important off-season question.
All of us were shocked and saddened by the news of Antone Exum's injury just a few weeks ago, as he had become a vocal leader in the #BEATBAMA campaign. His tweets about preparing for August 31st had everyone in Hokie Nation pumped up enough that they themselves were ready to go out and hit somebody... and it was only January.
This evening Virginia Tech confirmed a rumor that had been circulating over the weekend.
#Hokies Antone Exum has suffered a tear of his R ACL and lateral meniscus; doctors hoping for surgery this wk; expected out 6-9 months.— VT Football (@VT_Football) January 28, 2013
Virginia Tech did not state how he injured his knee, or when it happened, but the rumor was it happened playing a game of basketball yesterday at McComas.
This is just devastating news for a kid who worked "his nuts off" last fall. In my opinion he was the team's most improved player, and he finished the season in the discussion as its top defender. Exum announced on January 9th that he would return for his senior season with goals of, "working towards ACC and National titles!".

This will be a great defensive secondary. Now for Gayle and Thomas to make up their minds.
This is everything I love about our program right here.
Big shout out to @iamswag1 for using his bestbuy giftcard to buy gifts for children who's parents couldn't afford them in the store #Hokies— Devin Vandyke (@majorhit10) December 24, 2012
Foster started off by defending Exum who had been answering questions before him, "I thought the kid you're talking to right there played his nuts off." "You can quote me on that shit too. Played his ass off. Fought his ass off."
Bud praised Bruce and Tyler for terrific performances Saturday, something French will no doubt expound upon in his defensive film review. It doesn't seem like Edwards will see meaningful snaps Saturday.
Bonner is getting reps at corner in order to build depth, it's evident Manning isn't ready to be the first corner off the bench.
He likened UNC's offense to what Tech's seen the last couple of weeks, just at a, "faster pace."

Hayley Salyer gives an quick look at the Hokies' first spring practice of the season. Antone Exum speaks about the challenging schedule and his thoughts about the fall. D.J. DiNardo is under-the-radar talent for the Hokies looking to make moves to the big stage. Jack Eikenbary talks to Shane Beamer about his recruiting triumphs.
As you all know, Lane Stadium North issued an ABP to all Wahoos to guarantee that Scott Stadium would be filled to capacity this coming Saturday. Thankfully, the UVA ticket office was able to accomplish its goal... but with no help from its apathetic fan base. Virginia Tech Hokies gobbled (no pun intended) up a majority of the remaining tickets. Alas, for the Cavaliers, it seemed that the YouTube sensation "I PLEDGE" video was for naught.
Because of the overwhelming response by Tech fans, I decided to put together our own set of pledges:
