you all catch Tyrod tonight?

Some of his ACC teammates and former VT alumn (cough, Daryl Tapp) making life challenging for him, but overall he actually is doing better than I expected. I think with some timing and more coaching he'll do well.

for those who missed it #

here are some quick points:

3 "interceptions": The first I blame on the receiver busting his route, the 2nd was a forced throw near the goaline, the 3rd fortunately over-turned, had some air on it not really sure what happened there.
Props to the coaching staff for keeping him in there for 3 whole quarters.
He got sacked something like 5 times and was pressured all night, lack of cohesive o-line play in the pre-season surely factored here.
He was able to move the pocket and look downfield on numerous occasions just like he did last season.
Took a hit to the back, went into the lockerroom for a series to have his neck checked out, then came back in- nice to see the determination. He also got his hat knocked off on one of the sacks.
Decent stats, nice tight short throws.
Had a nice 2-minute drill at the end, would have been great if he pulled out the win but he actually looked like a confident starter.

I don't plan on blogging about the Ravens on this site, but thought you all would like to hear.

Tyrod #

Just want to go on record to say I missed that game and appreciate this post. I am very interested in how Tyrod does in his pro career so thanks again!

There were some bright spot, #

There were some bright spot, but it still looks like he's not used to the speed of the pro game. That'll take some time, glad to see Baltimore gave him the reps.

It's just not the same seeing him in the #2 jersey.

Didn't see this...I like the guy in the background that said "he looks like it" when Harbaugh said that he's a pin-point passer (or something like that).
