Here's how we look for the ACCT

* The Hokies will be the No. 3 seed with a win AND a Florida State loss
* The Hokies will be the No. 4 seed with a win AND a Florida State win
* The Hokies will be the No. 5 seed with a loss AND a Boston College loss
* The Hokies will be the No. 6 seed with a loss AND a Boston College win

I think a win against Clemson #

I think a win against Clemson regardless of what happens in the ACCT and we're in. If we lose to Clemson I think we need to win the thing or look really, really good in the finals.

I agree #

A win against Clemson and we should be good. It's almost as if Tech's constant buzz about always being on the bubble has helped us stay relevant nationally, at least in the media's eye.

However, I think that the ACC tourney is a potential lose-lose for VT. Should they lose to Clemson, they likely match up against Wake. Wouldn't that bring the RPI and SOS down? I'm not sure how conference tourneys impact these figures or if its just like a regular season game.

If Tech gets the bye, then I'm concerned about rematching a Clemson team even more desperate to be included in the NCAA. I don't like it when VT has to match "desperate" teams. We can bring our A game against UNC and Dook, playing with a chip on our shoulders, but I don't think we match the level of other bubble teams looking for a validating win.

I hate being on the bubble #

Bubble teams aren't really that relevant. What's the farthest a bubble team has ever gone in the NCAA? I'd rather be floating above the bubbles.
