I hope everyone has utilized these past couple months wisely. I know of at least ONE person that had a real Pitbull summer in the state of Georgia. Too bad he plays in Athens.
Georgia Tech ended last season on a sour note, with a 30-27 loss to Utah in the Sun Bowl. It was GT's seventh-straight bowl loss dating back to 2004, during which they have given up 222 points.
The Yellow Jacket defense is looking to improve on last year's subpar performance, led by linebacker Jeremiah Attaochu.
I'm looking forward to a repeat performance by Logan Thomas, who last year had 74 yards and 2 touchdowns rushing in addition to 209 yds and 3 touchdowns through the air.
Wish I could be joining everyone in Blacksburg next week. Everyone enjoy their Labor Day!

Agree. It was a bad move and a bad decision. But football is a physically and mentally intense game that is full of emotion. Sometimes that gets the best of good people. How he handled it afterwards (texting Logan and apologizing publicly) says a lot about him. He made a mistake, he realized it, he atoned for it... good job.
But we still get to mock him for it ;)

Mimicking in a Mini-Me kind of way? A good part of the GT D is apparently going into this game with no idea of what it's like to be looking at a big "3" barreling down on you in open field or dragging you for 10 yards on a QB sneak, and obviously they can't come close to reproducing the effect in practice.....Monday night can't come soon enough!
