Rutgers already posted a picture of the RAB patch on their white uniforms so expect either orange or Maroon (gasp!!!) jerseys and white pants.
with our luck they will put a HokieBird in a tutu on the helmet.
As long as they only put a VT on the helmets I'm all for it.

Helmets for Russell Athletic Bowl
I really wish we could just stick with the Maroon sparkle helmets. You know when we didn't change up our helmets for every game, we were winning. Think I maybe a little superstitious?
i've always hated the sparklies in the helmets. replace those with these permanently and i'd be happy.
That was a quality cue in the late 90's
Everyone had pretty matte helmets, the sparkly helmets came along with improved TV coverage. In a few years, only teams that didn't have any money (read: MAC teams and ECU) still had matte helmets.
Now, we've seen a move back to not only matte helmets, but white helmets as well. For a long time, white helmets looked cheap because that's what Riddell gave you as the base model. Then everyone upgraded to some type of color.
Personally, the matte looks good and the white VT logo looks good....right now. It'll change.

The way the season's gone, I could care less about what they wear. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say it's the orange stylized VT (a la Boise State, see below).
I just want a win, and a win that demonstrates marked improvement in offensive philosophy.
Minus the PCB stripe, that's about what I expect.
And if you're looking for marked improvement in offensive philosophy, you're probably better off waiting until 8/31/13 to turn your tv back on. Or maybe the spring game, if it's televised this year (teams are starting to do that, right?)

but my implication was that if we are going to improve offensively, it won't be until spring and summer practice, hopefully with a new look to our offensive staff.
And, well, it's all perspective. If we put up 300 yards on Bama, a pretty small number but one that only 3 teams (LSU, TAMU, UGA) put up on Bama this year, that would show improvement for our offense, show that they can move the ball some against an elite defense.
I really would like to see a glossy old school vt logo on the side (see Dozer's example above), seeing as they wont be using it after this season.
Maroon or not, I'm tired of this.

Throw some chrome numbers on the jersey and some neon-lights on the cleats and you've got yourself a uniform.

Right now on espn they have the vegas bowl with Boise st. and washington. Boise is sporting the same sort of helmet we are for our bowl game. number on one side and horse emblem on the other. I'm guessing that they will do ours with the hokie emblem.
