Larry Fedora interviews at Tennessee

Godfrey of SBN reported it: http://www.sbnation.com/college-football/2012/12/4/3729470/larry-fedora-....

If one of Fedora, Strong, or Gundy are supposedly Tennessee's final-three, and Strong is staying a L-Ville (http://espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/id/8710353/report-charlie-st...), with nothing else considered, I'd ballpark Fedora at 50%.

Not sure what it means for Tech. I think he had a great first season at UNC, and they'll be behind the ball with finding another coach that good. Tennessee needs to recruit UNC to be good, and Tech needs it to be elite. It's another big hand in the candy jar if two guys with Carolina ties (Fedora and new UNC coach) are there.

Tennessee

The job nobody wants...lol

Take the shortest route to the ball and arrive in bad humor.

I think it was actually rated one of the top 5 or 6 jobs in the SEC, but... yeah the turnover there recently has been ugly.

(Gloating at their misfortune bwahahahahahahahahahahahaha! My sister's a Vol)

I think Gundy is Beamer'ing Okie St.

He doesn't want to leave, he just wants to make it rain.

Tennessee....not as good of a job as Tennessee fans think it is. Literally, when Dooley was fired, the first name I saw mentioned with this job: Bob Stoops. Elll. Oooohhh. Ellll.

Doyle reports Gundy turns down UT.

duh.

So pretty much this...

Yeah, it'll be:

"I'm a man, I'll take $40.....Million over 8 years!"

Tennessee is a great job, if the right candidate is hired. If tennessee can hold onto their offensive staff, and bring in charlie strong.... LOOK OUT!!! Rocky Top would be lethal.

Lethal?

I think the UT fans would settle for "relevant" or "competitive" after the past 5 years of suffering. We howl about one year of difficulties, and they are not that long removed from winning the National Championship. UT has practically fallen off the map, losing to Vandy, and it was not even close. That would have been unthinkable 10 years ago.

They are in gods conference, right Matt?

And they will make it rain for someone
.. But aside from that, there are too many challenges for that program to ever meet expectations..it isn't that great of a job other than the money
