Ken Ekanem Commits to the Hokies

Before he even got to the stage Sandman played. Then an administrator announced where other Centreville athletes would attended college. Then his coach came up and they finally got to Ken. He made his choice, help up the #4 he'd be rocking in Blacksburg, and Sandman played again.

Elite defensive end Ken Ekanem made it official and committed to the Hokies at 9:00 AM this morning. Ken's final four were VT, Notre Dame, UNC and Oregon. Tech and the Irish were his final two. The Hokies continued to recruit him even after he tore his ACL and meniscus. Notre Dame cooled on Ken when coach Charlie Molnar left to take the head coaching job at UMass. The Irish eventually said they were no longer recruiting Ekanem.

He's a very athletic, versatile player that had 4.5 sacks in the state semi-final and should give Bud Foster plenty of options.

Looks like he wants to wear #4 #

And so does JC Coleman. I hope there is some sort of battle-royale involving Rock-Paper-Scissors.

So...going OSU route with numbers? Haha #

Welcome to HokieNation Ken! Looks like he'll redshirt but when he gets out on the field in 2013 we'll be getting a truly solid defensive player with a nose for making plays! YESSSS! BTW, jerseys sales for the #4 probably won't drop anytime soon.
