The mistake of skipping post season play
I can't be the only one who sees Weavers decision of excluding us from post season play unless we play in the NIT as a mistake. With the season we have had and playing so much youth why should we skip the chance to allow these young players some extra time on the court? Plus they will get to experience post season play. It is also a chance to continue to build momentum for next season. A post season tournament is still a great experience no matter what banner it carries. Sure the CBI requires teams to pay to be the host school, maybe playing those games on the road would be more beneficial to us anyway if the money is the problem. The CBI also has a 3 game championship series which would really show how our guys react under pressure if we went that far.

I dont know dude the CBI sucks. The school would take a loss, fan interest would be low, and would we even make the finals?
Might be best to just call it a year if they cant turn it around enough to even make the NIT.

I didn't even know there were other tournaments other than the NCAA & NIT.
Sounds like it would be a good opportunity to get some young guys more experience, however cost is probably the deciding factor. Go Jim Weaver.
