WVU President on the ACC, "Should be pretty nervous right about now."

President Clements was also at the event and during his remarks mentioned that the ACC "should be pretty nervous right about now." Those were public remarks to an exclusively WVU crowd, so take them for what they're worth.

1. Bitter because WVU didn't get an ACC invite? Probably.
2. Puffing his chest to rile up supporters at an alumni event? Definitely.
3. Wanted his comment to get on the Internet? Negative.

Is he the same president that gave Manchin's daughter a Master's for accomplishing nothing more than being Manchin's daughter? Maybe that kind of stuff is what got them rejected. Have fun travelling 1000 miles each way for conference games Eers. May the Black Diamond gather dust.

typical stuff from the 'eers this time of year. Usually it's Marshall that takes the trashing, but since they are moving conferences while circumventing the Big East Rules, I'm sure there's some "look at me now" in there. You may think you did just fine, but let's talk again in 5 years when you haven't finished above 3rd in the conference.
