Lady Hokies Hoops Recruiting update

Came across a pretty good article from Doug Doughty at the Roanoke Times on the incoming class for the Lady Hokies. There are five players in the class highlighted by a JUCO transfer ranked 9th in the Nation, three top players from VA/NC and a 6'3 forward from Sweden

Several of these recruits could have an instant impact on improving the team. I would expect Magarity, Powell and possibly Croker to all see significant time next season.

Croker's stat line from high school is impressive, 954 Blocks and more than 1000 points and rebounds. Being able to adjust an opponents shot is so important in the women's game which is why I could see her being on the floor early and often.

Camp
Just missed a fourth star in her ranking coming in at 3 Stars with an 89 rating. She is a slashing type combo guard with a pretty solid 15 foot jump shot which will be key in creating shots next season.

Croker Another high ranked three star recruit, this time on the interior, where she is a monster in terms of rebounding and defending the rim. She has work to do on the offensive end in terms of expanding her range and developing further her creation of a shot with her back to the basket. Good potential to play a sixth man role next season for Wolff.
