OT: FRC Team 401 - Hokie Guard

Don't know how many people on TKP have ever heard of FIRST robotics (I'm an alumni myself) but it's a world-wide organization for grade-school kids to get hands on experiences in STEM fields. The flagship program is the First Robotics Competition (FRC) which is high school kids designing and building robots and competing across the United States. If you've never heard of it, it's basically sports for nerds (you can check the website out at www.usfirst.org)

Long story short, FRC Team 401 is called the Hokie Guard- they're based out of Christiansburg High, I believe, and VT students can help mentor them. They're up at college park right now competing in the Chesapeake Regional, and I grabbed a screenshot of the MC doing introductions before one of their matches that you may enjoy (teams are allowed to give stuff to the MC for the pre-match instructions).

Unfortunately they lost this match, but they play around 10 or so during the course of a competition, not including the "tournament" play if they do well. And as a FIRST alumni, I can tell you they ran up against a buzzsaw of regional/national powerhouse FRC teams for this match, so there's no shame in losing the one I saw.
