A little ray of sunshine for Virginia Tech after today's loss. 2016 Quarterback Logan Byrd out of Kathleen, Georgia, committed to the Hokies, per his twitter account (via Andy Bitter).

A 6'3" 230-pound signal caller, Byrd chose the Hokies over offers from Duke, Illinois, North Carolina, NC State and UVa. Byrd is rated a four-star prospect by Rivals and a three star in the 247 composite.
Per Bitter, Byrd also has his own website, which has already been updated with a press release announcing his commitment to Virginia Tech.
