Women's Soccer #2 in NSCAA poll

Women's Soccer team receives its highest placement in the polls, swapping spots with UVA. With 9 wins to open the season in non conference play, the Hokies start conference action this Friday against #17 Clemson at 6pm. Sophomore forward Murielle Tiernan was also recognized with various national awards for her recent play.

It is a soccer double header as the Men's team will take on Wake Forest in the Hokies ACC home opener. The Hokies are currently 2-3 with a close loss to #15 UVA and are currently play UNCG. Game with start approximately at 830pm.

Also on Friday and Saturday, the Hokie Volleyball team will host the Hokie Invitational. Tech is currently 4-6 on the season coming off a win against #12 Illinois. The tournament includes Radford, Marshall and UNC-Wilmington. The Hokies will take on UNC-W Friday night at 7pm and then on Saturday, take on Radford at 10am and Marshall at 7pm.

Due to all the events on Friday, the Cassell parking lot will remain open until 10pm so parking shouldn't be a problem for any event.
