Ohio State Spring Game --> Rookie Quick Hits/

Ohio State Spring Game 2015

Don't know if anyone has any interest in watching their spring game but I found it up on youtube.

Some stuff that jumped out to me: Mainly watched the White/Grey team as that seemed to be the 1's for Offense.

Cardale Jones- has a huge arm, just flicks his wrist and boom 50 60 yard throw. Works better over the middle of the field however once you bring his throws outside the #'s the accuracy isn't as hot. Obviously saw a bunch of smash/option routes over the middle with the slot WR & opposite side TE. Cardale starred down his receivers on multiple hitch routes. 1 was intercepted and a couple others came close. One thing I seemed to notice is that he rarely steps into his deep throws and relies on his arm strength. Might just be me but I didn't see a plant and step into the ball more of a back foot thrower.

O-line- don't know if its their 1's but it looked good, all 5 guys are seasoned Vets and should have no issues picking up where they left off last year. DE's definitely had success coming through and making some plays so that's good to see.

Curtis Samuels- Quick WR/RB/Jet Sweep player. Not a lot of running in between the tackles but watch out for him when he gets space.

They also have a couple guys that have switched positions to create room for more explosive players/depth everywhere. SO its not just at VT that we move players around to try and get the most out of these kids. That's refreshing to see since it seems to happen a good amount.

First Punt and its muffed!!!!! #BEAMERBALL
