The girls got their first victory in ACC play against Wake Forest 76-59 in Cassell on Military Appreciation Day. 5 girls scored in double figures (Panousis, Cook, Campbell, Young, and Hill) and Taijah Campbell posted her 5th career double double in points and rebounds. Defensively The Lady Hokies played hard and held Dearica Hamby, who was averaging over 20 points per game, to just 13 points. The victory moves the girls to 10-10 overall of 1-6 in ACC play
