Regarding Kumah and how the Hokies came on his radar

The love affair began back when Eric Kumah was a freshman. Though he wasn't yet the playmaking receiver known for winning jump balls and outrunning defenders, a Virginia Tech-affiliated Web site noted Kumah's potential by listing him as a player to watch in the 2016 class.

Ever since then, Kumah has had his eye on the Hokies, spurring a recruiting process that culminated Friday with the Forest Park rising senior committing to Virginia Tech during a ceremony.

"I was just remembering that (list), thinking about that, and when I went down there, they just treat me like complete family and it felt like home to me," Kumah said. "It's also in-state so my parents can come watch me play, some friends can come watch me play. So that's why I'm excited about going there and that's the reason I chose there.

Saucy Sauce

Just goes to show how fan wesbites can influence a recruit early on (and perhaps at any time) during the recruting process. I'm glad TKP doesn't have the usual amount of knuckleheads that other sites do *cough cough*. Thanks to Joe / other staff for keeping it clean on this place!
