- There are many ways to win at college football, but in the Big 12 with exception of the outlier in Manhattan, it's by the Air Raid offense and turnover hawking defense. Can wunderkid Lincoln Riley put Bob Stoops back at the top with TCU and Baylor and if not, what happens to Bob?
- I'm not saying the neers aren't a very good defensive team, but beating two sisters of the poor and their ugly Maryland cousin isn't a good enough indication that their offensive "guru" head coach has magically learned how to defense. His air raid roots, tell me that's not likely long term

- The Red Raiders were oh so close to putting the Big 12 into Baylor's hands last week in a late loss to TCU. I am 100% confident we'll see the same five hour all offense game this week
- Baylor isn't a true air raid team. Sure they have some similarities, but their attack is way more balanced and they go deep more often, in a conference with lots of bright offensive minds, 59 year old Art Briles is the king
Pick: Texas Tech getting the points, they'll lose again, but they'll also score quite a bit.

- Like media clockwork, More cowbell was picked to finish at the bottom of the SEC West and by the end of the year Dan Mullen tells the media to get a new watch. A win in College Station on Saturday will almost justifiy his new $4.25M annual salary

- This is the second (and more of a) test to see the Clemson offense can do versus a real defense, post Chad Morris. Much like Oregon after Chip Kelly's departure, I can't help to think the Tiger's O is going to suffer and quite possibly already seeing it's downturn
- You know how one gets away with being a jerk and other shady shit in college football? He takes chicken shit and turns it into chicken salad. Only a couple of programs either by coaching or great coaching can overcome the loss of five prominent starters and still play very high level football
Pick: Notre Dame, but I am not confident.
