I remember the last time Tech played in a hurricane, 2003 against Texas A&M.
These were the days before running back rotations in Blacksburg. Kevin Jones rushed 30 times for 188 yards and Tech won 35-19.
I was a junior and my season tickets were in the North End Zone. The combination of drunk college students, plus a hurricane, led to an obnoxious amount of noise, tons of slipping down the bleachers and a raucous environment.
