Fernleyhokie AMA

First, my apologies to Fireman who is running an AMA now as well. Please ask him questions in his as I intend to do. He did mention he would do an AMA after Guitarman and I totally forgot about it when I said I would do the same at this time. I hope he won't mind sharing the spotlight. There were some kind people that seemed interested in some stories I may have but not sure how much general interest overall, unfortunately after today I will be pretty busy and I think the preseason shenanigans will be in full bloom so today is ideal.

All that being said, I am happy to answer anything anyone might want to know. I specifically want to help use this, as Guitarman and Fireman are, to drive new membership to TKP, so as posted "I have been planning a trip back to VA and/or Blacksburg pretty much every year since the last time I was there which was 5 years ago. So..... IF we get to 300 Key Players before Battle at Bristol and IF I do get back this year I will host a TKP night either at First Down in NOVA or somewhere in Blacksburg. Fortunately for you, and unfortunately for my wallet, I will be traveling to NYC several times this fall for some business so I will be in the neighborhood. And by "host" I mean I will buy fellow KeyPlayers free alcohol, perhaps not everyone if there is crazy turnout, but for majority I suspect. Hell, depending on how the night goes could be for all TKPers."

I am already looking at dates and travel so I will sincerely try to make this happen. I have some fairly massive projects I am working on that will have me globetrotting a lot this Fall so scheduling is key.

As posted, to get some more simple answers out of the way: I am married; I cannot play a musical instrument; I have a nearly 5 year old daughter, a dog, a cat and a goldfish; I have several businesses; am a designer (arch. landscape, urban designer/planner) by education and for the majority of my career; and to top Guitarman in at least one skill I have surpassed him on the no sleep for academic success notch with 3 nights and nearly 4 days with zero hours sleep.

I have traveled a lot and have been fortunate to experience some pretty cool and crazy stuff, so ask anything and we'll see what comes up.

13 people (14 including myself) legged Guitarman's original comment that spawned this, so it may be a conversation for just a few but so be it. I would be honored to have even a tenth of the number of questions Guitarman and Fireman have and will get.
