This website has us posted as a current #8 seed with other ACC Foes with worse conference records, who we have also beaten, set as higher seeds with Florida St. at #2, Clemson #3 And GA Tech #4.
Looking strictly at RPI (Ratings Percentage Index), Florida St. and GA Tech are higher than us, 71 and 72, respectively. But have in Conference records of 7-10.
Clemson sits Below us at an RPI of 121, with the same in conference record.
So, am I crazy for thinking that somehow we should be getting a little more respect than we've been given as far as seeding goes for the NIT? as of late this is one of the hottest teams in the ACC and should deserve a 3-5 seed as far as i'm concerned.
