Weekly Weather Report - Pirate edition

Wow what whirlwind of coverage with Irma, seriously I havent lost that much sleep since...well since Matthew last year. Irma was everything it was hyped up to be and more cutting a swathe of destruction up the Florida peninsula and basically relocating a bunch of the surrounding ocean into the peninsula basically lowering the water where we want water and raising it everywhere we dont. Seriously cray stuff.

Anywho on to happier news and this week's football. A SUPER strong ridge has basically taken over the duty of blocking out all things bad weather on the east coast for the time being. This should be an absolutely gorgeous day as all things bad weather. Honestly most of the country should be under a relatively stable environment, providing pretty nice weather. The only weather system's worth noting currently is a slight system in the Montana/Utah region which should be slowly pushed north over this huge ridge into Northern Minnesota and eventually into Canada which is a much needed rest after hurricane Irma; and Hurricane Jose (more on that later).

TAKE THAT CANADA

For this weekend I'd expect it to be a bit muggy and warm. Temperatures should be in the low 80s, and will dip down into the 60s in the evening. Humidity (any meteorologists out there dont bite my head off for not using wet bulb) might drop a little bit as the evening progresses but I'd expect it to basically hold firm along the day. Expect cramps to be a thing in this game. Wind should also not be an issue during the game as itll be a pretty tame environment weather wise. I expect a slight amount of cloud cover, that will break as the game continues.

What this means for the game? Well I expect cramps to be a thing late in the game, hopefully we can get the ground game rolling again but because its ECU I fully expect a house of horrors in this game. I just hate playing them so much.

ugh

That being said I do think our offense gets a bit of its mojo back. I fully expected a dip last week, as Fuente did not have a great game against liberty and was clearly trying to get some backup WRs involved in the gameplan. Likewise we were keeping it super vanilla on offense. I wouldnt be surprised to see an uptick on that side of the ball but not a massive one and hopefully we can get out of ECU with a W and a healthy team!

Final predictions

High - 81
Low - 64
Precip - Nada
Partly Cloudy
Gusts around 5 MPH

Go Hokies!!!!!!

Side Note: Keep your eye on Hurricane Jose, the latest run on the Euro Composite had it hitting New Jersey/ Delaware much like Sandy (minus the trough). This thing is worth keeping an eye on and could do some damage, but its still a bit far out to make any key predictions. Those of you up in the NE keep your eye on it though for sure hurricane season is far from over.
