Hurricane Maria

Hey all, I hate to over saturate the message boards with this stuff but as I'm sure you all know I do pay a lot of attention to the weather. Hurricane Maria is yet another massive Atlantic hurricane and is wrecking Puerto Rico atm. Floridians I have some good news for you the storm is taking a sharp turn northward before it makes landfall near Florida, I seriously doubt you have much to worry about. However this is where it gets interesting, the remnants of Jose chilling out in the Atlantic appear to influence and wobble Maria back towards the shoreline near VA beach. This is still a week out so its nothing to panic over yet, and the euro composite doesnt even have it making landfall however it is worth taking notice and keeping an eye on. Theres a couple of factors that need to be understood a little bit better before we make any concrete predictions

1) How strong the high in the mid atlantic region gets over the next couple of days - this could steer the hurricane away

2) where the leftovers of Jose eventually wind up - that storm has been doing absolutely nothing in the mid-atlantic for ages. Surfers have probably LOVED it

3) How quickly the next system shoots across the east

This system is a little bit to close to home to ignore, so I'm keeping a close eye on it, expect updates. Certainly not as doom and gloom as I was with Irma but, its certainly very relevant to us and the north east as well as it turns northward
