I like it.

Five star get after it 100 percent Juice Key-Playing. MAN

On a scale of 1 to Kam Chancellor how much do you like it?

Long kid, heavy shoulder... Kam 2.0?

Is it football season yet?

Kids in my backyard, have heard he has the work ethic that will see him thrive working for Bud. Has a knack for the ball and ability to make people miss as he gets to the backfield.

Would never of thought someone from my Alma Mater would commit to play for Tech. I love it. Go PFalls

Ayy PFalls class of 2016 saying hello. A kid who graduated from there this June is apparently gonna be playing for UVA. Clearly Dean Ferguson is a better decision maker :P

Ayy PFalls class of 2016

Another PFall grad! Love that I get to root for a Panther on the Hokies!!

-Semper Primus

Holy crap! Didn't realize there were this many PFalls grads here!

Graduated 2005

-Semper Primus

I did in 2010; it is very nice to see how the Panthers are somewhat successful in football now.

He tweeted his commitment from the Cascades. This kid is going places.

Tyrod did it Mikey, Tyrod did it!!

Gets cell service at the Cascades. Baller status confirmed.

"How the ass pocket will be used, I do not know. Alls I know is, the ass pocket will be used."
- The BoD

I'm not even sure that Chuck Norris could do that. Glenn Dorsey might be able to, though.

If you're not sure if my comment warrants a "/s", it probably does.

Clearly, this dude is TALL!

Pain is Temporary, Chicks Dig Scars
Glory is Forever, Let's Go Hokies!!

So we'll have a Bucky 2.0 in the secondary. Nice.

Tyrod did it Mikey, Tyrod did it!!

I believe this is Cascades in Loudoun Co, which is like another name for Sterling.

Like the length and possibilities for roles on defense.

I have never heard of this kid... How long have we been after him? Was he a high priority? I'm pumped but I'd like a little more of the story on his recruitment.

We offered back in Sep 2017 but he has been a regular on campus before and after that. Multiple unofficial visits.

I guess I just don't follow recruiting as closely as I think I do. Glad we landed this guy.

I'm a little concerned he doesn't show his battery level in any screenshots. Feels like he's hiding something.

We put the K in Kwality

Seriously, how is this "kid" a 3-Star? Love how he hits with an attitude.

Tyrod did it Mikey, Tyrod did it!!

This dude put "2 knockouts" in with his defensive stats.

I'm in love.

some of these clips where he is at the LOS remind me of Kam blowing up that Arizona OL and planting him on his backside!

Dean of Boom!

Where's the beef?

Dean of Demolition...

Dean of Hard Knocks

I like his style! Dude runs through people.
Dean Ferguson. Not to be mistaken with Turd Ferguson.

I'll take a hard hitting safety type any day.

Any relation to Jarrett?

21st century QBs Undefeated vs UVA:
MV7, MV5, LT3, Jerod Evans, Michael Brewer, Tyrod Taylor, Sean Glennon, and Grant Noel. That's right, UVA. You couldn't beat Grant Noel.

Disclaimer: I'm no expert at breaking down video.

Bold Prediction: This guy will be the reason Paul Johnson's tenure in the ACC ends.

Seriously though, my first thought watching him is he is built to shut down the triple option. It looks like he rarely over pursues. He seems to be patient waiting on plays to develop. He feasts on sweeps and outside run plays. He aggressively takes on lead blockers and still make solid tackles. He seems to prefer playing the run rather than the pass. If he is fast enough (I'm assuming speed is the reason he isn't more highly rated) he seems to be an even better fit for the roles Kyle and Kendall played vs. GT.

His school, Potomac Falls, runs triple option on offense. He certainly will have a great understanding of how to defend the triple.

Kid looks like Kam 2.0, I wonder why hes a lower 3*.

Well technically kam was a two start so this kid is one star better than kam

Just an FYI, it's been a few years since I played as Westfield HS in NOVA so I'm a tad disconnected from the scene. But the reason he's ranked so low is probably the level of competition. Their league in loudoun county is probably the weakest in NoVA/towards the lower end of the state. The best schools for both level of competition and producing D1 talent are in Fairfax county and those schools end up playing the top end 757 schools in the playoffs as well. Stone Bridge (Gouveia-Winslow, Jonathan Allen)and a couple others in Loudoun County who produced a bunch of prospects in the last 10 years used to be in the same classification with Potomac falls and that loudoun county league but they would roll through these teams every year and eventually got moved up and now play the ffx schools year in and year out. Their league will have a couple D1 players here and there but most that are college bound end up at schools like CNU or Bridgewater. Where as the higher level schools in loudoun or ffx will produce several times more D1 prospects every year.

Fugazy

That's not necessarily true anymore -- VHSL did some re-alignment where the LCPS schools are grouped together again, so schools like PFHS now play Stone Bridge on a more regular basis.

I do agree that the level of competition may not be super high, but I would not put it at the lower portion of the state. Stone Bridge is not the only school that has developed high level D1 talent -- Briar Woods has been fairly successful as well in addition to Broad Run. Heck, Dominion even sent a linebacker to Clemson a few cycles ago.

I didn't type it out but by other loudoun schools I did mean Broad Run and Briar Woods. But again to my point there will be a player here and there from pfalls and dominion and the other schools but it's not consistent at any significant quantity. And outside of those Ashburn area schools the rest of loudoun football is incredibly weak, I'm not saying at the bottom but I would definietly put it at the lower half and definietly the weakest in NOVA. Again I'm not hatin on them it's outside of a player or 2 pfalls, dominion, loudoun valley, etc aren't good and usually whichever team makes it out of their division struggles in their playoffs as well which I believe definietly is affecting deans ranking in terms of level of competition.

That said it can work both ways, you can find a gem that other schools are unsure of or you can have an overrated player that when they play better competition just can't live up to the expectations.

Fugazy

Ah, yeah I agree with you; didn't interpret you as hating earlier either.

Ashburn area schools are definitely the strongest football schools in Loudoun. Tuscarora (in Leesburg) was doing really well for a new school, but then their coach (former 2 time champion at BRHS), left for a lucrative job all the way in California.

It is very sad that Park View in Sterling had to shut down football, especially since it used to be the powerhouse program in the county.

Loudoun Co. high school football team cancels season after 18 players show up

I went to a tiny SW Va high school. Graduating class had 63 students.

We had right around 18 players on the whole varsity squad. Yes, we all played both sides of the ball.

We didn't win many games, but Good Lord were we in wicked cardio shape.

Which school?

Take the shortest route to the ball and arrive in bad humor.

Mount Rogers?

Never Forget #1 Overall Seed UVA 54, #64 UMBC 74

Way too many for Mount Rogers. I'd wager Holston, if we aren't talking about farther west.

New Castle. A long time ago.

This is entirely inaccurate. The Potomac District (which is made up of all division 5 Loudoun teams) is arguably the best in the state at least at the division 5 level. Tuscarora, Broad Run, and Stone Bridge are all top ten teams in Division 5 this year. Loudoun County has surpassed Fairfax (other than Westfield and maybe South County although a 4-6 Briar Woods beat a division 6 state champ in Westfield a few years back). Just look at the scores from the past several years. Loudoun schools have routinely outplayed the Fairfax ones.

After watching his film he reminds me of Anthony Shegog. I can definitely see him playing a role against GT.

1-0 every week

Reading this thread like "come on guys not every big safety that hits hard can be the next Bam Bam Kam"

Watches highlight tape "damn this guy is Kam 2.0!"
