Was listening to the radio the other week, and the guys in Raleigh had John Feinstein on talking about the future of college football, and they made reference to something that I hadn't heard before. Apparently, there may have already been talks about the possibility of expanding the playoff, but in order to not play too many games, it would mean eliminating Conference Championship Games across the board. (He also made reference to the fact that conference championship auto-bids will never happen in college football, and any playoff will still be decided by committee.)
So I ask you. If it meant eliminating the ACC Championship Game, and eliminating all Championship Games across the board, would you be in favor of an 8 team playoff?
