I'm not the Hoops Wiz that Lt. Rob is; but I thought I would put together a similar write-up for the women's game today. I haven't watched a lot of film or read a lot about Ohio State. This is mostly based on statistics (I'm an engineer and a number kind of guy). The Hokies play Ohio State today at the West Palm tournament at 12:15PM. There is video but $ required.
Starters:
Dorka Juhasz 6'4" Freshman Forward. Juhasz plays 25 min/game, shoots 39% overall and 5% from 3(1 for 21), 61% FT. She has 3 blocks and 10 steals this season, while scoring 10.5 pts per game.
Mikayla Waterman 6'2" Graduate forward. Waterman plays 31 min/game, shoots 35% overall and 8% from 3, 71% FT. She has 12 blocks and 8 steals this season, while scoring 8 points per game.
Carly Santoro 5'10" Graduate Guard. Santoro plays 31 min/game, shoots 39% overall and 22% from 3, 54% FT. She has 2 blocks and 9 steals this season, while scoring 10.1 points per game.
Carmen Grande 5'8" Graduate Guard. Grande plays 31.9 min/game, shoots 22% overall and 26% from 3, 87% FT. She has no blocks and 10 steals this season, while scoring 5.9 points per game.
Adriana Miller 5'11' Graduate Guard. Miller plays 18.6 min/game, shoots 27% overall and 37.5% from 3, 82% FT. She has 2 blocks and 2 steals this season, while scoring 5.3 points per game.
They have one other forward averaging 19 min/ game. Aliyah Patty 6'3" Freshman. 51% overall, 12.5% from 3, 57% FT. 8 blocks, 8 steals, 6.9 points per game.
There are 2 other guards averaging about significant minutes. They each contribute about 4 points per game.
Overall Ohio State does not appear to be an offensive minded team. They shoot 37% overall and 23% from 3. 62% from the free throw line. They average 38.6 rebounds per game, 2.6 more than their opponents. Their turnover rate is -1.1 per game.

Hokies should not have too much trouble with Ohio State unless the height of the front line causes a lot of problems. Magarity will be tested today. She is going to need help on the defensive boards. Need the outside shots to work. It would be great if Kendyl Brooks could have a good shooting game.
