ATLANTA ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​—​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ For guiding the Virginia Tech football program to national prominence, Frank Beamer was bestowed with one of the highest honors in the sport Monday: selection to the College Football Hall of Fame.
Beamer, who patrolled the sidelines at his alma mater for 29 seasons and won 280 games in a head coaching career that started at Murray State in 1981 and finished at Virginia Tech in 2015, was one of 13 people in the 2018 class, joining two other coaches and 10 players
This is awesome for CFB he deserves every honor he is getting this year. So far I've seen him inducted into Peach Bowl and Sun Bowl hall of fakes also.
