Carson Jones committed to the University of Virginia two years ago when he was a pitcher. But his game has changed a good deal since then, and so has his future.
This summer, he played with the RBA West Seminoles travel team and continued to hit well. He's resumed pitching, throwing two or three innings each weekend, and his confidence on the mound is coming back.
Virginia Tech offered him as a two-way player, and on Saturday he committed to the Hokies.
Any victory against LOLUVA is a good one.
