Gambling Lines, Week 12

Phew. That was a rough betting weekend. Between Kentucky screwing the pooch against the Vols and an LSU running back flat out refusing to score (giving Arkansas the win ATS), there was a lot more red than green on my betting slip. I heard Tech refused to travel to Pitt on top of it all.

Anyway, sadly on to the lines.

• BC (-1.5) @ FSU. Has no one figured out that FSU is hot garbage this year? I know BC has injuries to their QB and star running back, but BC beat us without Dillon even in the game for the 2nd half. This line is just disrespectful to the dudes from Boston.
• LOLUVa (+6.5) @ GT. Apparently Vegas doesn't buy the LOLUVa hype. Guess which team still has a shot at a division title? Hint, it's not the one favored by a TD in this game. I hope GT runs roughshod over the wahoos and blows this line out of the water.
• Wisconsin (+4.5) @ Purdue. It's official, hell has frozen over: Purdue is favored over B1G West powerhouse Wisconsin.
• Miami (-5) @ VT. Miami is really bad this year. They have only beaten UNC and FSU in conference. Also, the home team gets a 3 pt. bump. So that means Vegas really thinks Miami is a good 8 points better than us, on a neutral field. I'd be more upset, but I'm not so sure I disagree.
• anOSU (-14.5) @ UMd. Maryland just fired their coach due to negligence leading to a player's death. They just lost their starting QB to an ACL tear this past weekend. anOSU had better be able to put this one away early and emphatically.
