Thinking about our big wins over the last 15+ years (post-MV7 era), I realized that the majority of them have been away games, like Ohio State in 2014, or the conference championships. Personally, I think that the last big win in Lane was against Miami in 2011. We had just lost a Saturday night game versus Clemson, the atmosphere and the finish were nuts, and the game really pulled the team back together and propelled them to a successful 6-0 stretch run (that unfortunately led to the all-too-forgettable ACC-CG). What do you think? Other games that come to mind are the back-to-back 2009 Nebraska and Miami games.
Regardless, I will say it again that it is TIME for a big win in Lane. I hope everybody is ready to give our guys the biggest home field advantage they have ever experienced. In Lane by 7:30 PM and loud as possible. As has been reported, Notre Dame circled this one on their calendars. Let's show them why they did.
