Coming off a 6-7 season and a suspicious number of players leaving over the course of the last 2 years, I can't think of a lower point for Virginia Tech football than right now. It's not just the losing, it's the disturbing sense that the leaving players is an indication of something rotten going on behind the scenes. The mood is certainly dark on TKP right now, and people are pointing the finger at Fuente. I've been a huge defender of the guy myself, but it gets harder and harder as more bad news leaks out.
So the question is, what does Fuente need to do to instill confidence back in the fanbase? Win obviously. But how much winning? It's already been pointed out that our schedule is weak next year, so that muddies the water quite a bit. I'm curious if people can quantify the on the field results they need to see.
