About two weeks ago, one of our neighbors accidentally disrupted a wild Turkey nest. The mother was killed by a hay mower, and half of the clutch was destroyed. Thankfully he called us over because he knew we had an incubator. We collected the 7 remaining eggs hoping that mabye one would survive.
Today, I drove into town because of reasons, and who should I meet but Bucky Hodges. This was exciting and all, but when I got home, what should I find but 7 happy and healthy little wild Turkey babies.
Now, for those of you who are playing at home, Bucky Hodges wears jersey number 7. Clearly, the forces of nature are all lining up to tell us something about Virginia Tech football, but I have no idea what it could possibly mean.
