They go something like this: Bama at 1, 2 through 6 are very good teams, 8-14 or so are good teams then 15 through 80 who are any given Saturday. After are mostly turds.

Thursday, October 20th
Miami at Virginia Tech -6.5

- Sweet, sweet victory fireworks would be nice. I do believe, Coach Fuente will have this team focused and the team will be much more crisp in executing the gameplan, on O and D this week. That said, the team is going to have dig down and show some mental toughness. I will not be easy
- On a very short week for UM the travel to Blacksburg must suck. I really hope the bus driver from the Roanoke airport takes the 460 route instead of the interstate

Wisconsin -3.5 at Iowa

- So the Hawkeyes have home losses to Northwestern and North Dakota State and are only 3 and a half point homedogs. Vegas counting on a let down by Wisky?
- If r-Freshman QB Alex Hornibrook were a r-Junior the Badgers would be undefeated, that's how small the margin is for really good teams vs the college football elite

- wvu hasn't faced the "meat" of the Big XVII schedule, and they'll lose eventually, but sooner would be better than later. Defense and running the ball, staples of the Air Raid philosophy, you know
- TCU beat Kansas, the worst P5 football team by one point. Sure they were still smarting from the beating they had just took from OU and were looking ahead to the bye, but Kansas is THE worst team in the P5

- Nick Saban is a football GOD. Change talent, change coaches, change schemes ... it does not matter. I have no hot take, the process is in the golden era
- Maybe, I'm dumb, but I think aTm can slow down Bama's offense better than anyone else the Tide has played, now if the Aggie O can not give up defensive touchdowns, they can keep it within 20?

- PSU at home, at night ... so it's a whiteout. What else you got to beat tOSU? Better coaching? Offense? Defense? Special Teams? Anything? Ok, I admit it, I like putting PSU in the P6 and correctly picking them to lose against the spread (and the game)
- Helluva game last week vs Wisky, the natural tendency is to relax a bit, will be interesting to see if Meyer can keep these guys hungry

- Just ask any SEC fan, Ole Miss is the best 3 loss team in the nation. Hell, they are prolly better than any 2 loss team, even better than the two, 2 loss teams that beat them. SEC, PAWWLLL, SEC.

Bruery Terreux - Jester King Imperial Cabinet
Pray for me, I have a beer event early Saturday afternoon and another a few hours later. The first is all blueberry sour beers, I'll need to light pour and load up on tums. The the latter, I am bringing this unique collaboration beer by Bruery Terreux - Jester King where they tried to brew a beer reminiscent of the Ramos gin fizz cocktail. The result gives herbal and floral notes, bright lemon and lime zest, orange blossom honey, vanilla, warm oak and comforting spices. Can't wait to share it.
