This game was probably one of the most memorable games I have ever been at. Friday Night Kickoff between us and LOLUVA, winner would go to a bowl, we were looking to extend our LOLUVA win streak to 11. I had to drag my Dad to go to this game. I remember it was like 10 degrees and we were freezing. There was a LOLUVA fan behind us with no coat and a blue and orange bow tie and dress shirt. He would constantly be complaining how cold he was and I just looked at him like he was insane. After we scored the final TD, me and my Dad went down to the row on the wall behind the VT sidelines. As we got the final stop with the Dadi sack, my Dad kept chanting "11!, 11!" over and over as we walked out the stadium. I was living in Charlottesville and that Monday I went into school and told my English teacher I was at the game, she looked at me for a long second then replied "What game?"
I was wondering if you guys have any personal VT football moments that you can recollect like yesterday. This was a fantastic game that both me and my Dad thought would turn out horribly. (we were in Winston- Salem the week before.) Listening to Hokie Huddle on the way to the game he would just laugh at the guys on the podcasts because he thought we would get blown out. Boy were we wrong
