Is my thinking way off that every time I pull-up ESPN I expect to see a headline that starts with "Virginia Tech fires..." I've gone through the stages of grief and finally arrived at acceptance that years of bad recruiting, badly timed off-season departures, and injuries have sunk this season, but the thought of that headline becoming a reality is continuously in my head now. Yes, all those things combined would spell doom for most seasons, but we've compounded the issue with some well discussed coaching decisions and play-calling over the last several weeks that have agitated TKP fanbase to the point that pulling financial support has been 1) actively discussed and 2) covered by Joe as a very significant concern.
Would / could Whit be as concerned to pull that trigger and cut the losses to start all over?
