OT: College Fantasy Football for 2019; Registration is Open

I went ahead and cancelled the "Auto-Renewed" league from last season. There's a new one (and right now the goal is to make it fairly similar to last season's. 65 FBS teams spread among 16 Managers seemed to work out fairly well; but I'll hear your argument against that, too).

TKP 2019

It's a public league, and the goal is to get 16 folks who would like to participate. If there's more interest, we could certainly open another league. In the future we could get fancy and open a FanTrax league (more league-specialization and versatility), but I've opted with Yahoo again (accessibility; they have apps for Androids and iPhones).

If you have a friend/family member you believe would be interested in playing, you can either forward them the link above, or join yourself (there's an option to send invites from the league).

P.S. I apologize to anybody who had received the invite from the league from last season. Yahoo has an option to auto-renew, but I realized after I clicked "renew" that until the season starts I have no way of seeing who's going to participate. Starting a new league each season lets us the bar at "signing up". We had pretty good participation last season, and I'd like to keep that up.

Is this going to be a Keeper League?

It's a possibility, but we won't have keepers from last year. As long as the league stays pretty active and we have a handle on who's paying attention, I think we could try it next season.

Currently, we have 13 teams in the college league. We will need an even number of teams to draft. Ideally we'd like to fill out all 16 manager spots.

If you would like to sign up, or know somebody that would have an interest in playing College Fantasy Football this season, point them this way:

I'll be on the road during draft time but joined anyway!

If you're reading the above post and thinking, "is this guy serious?!?," you can safely assume I'm not.

Glad to have you on board!

Yahoo typically does a pretty good job of Autodrafting teams, so you shouldn't be at any disadvantage from missing the draft (and frankly, most of us didn't know half of the people we drafted last year).

We're up to 14 teams! If I don't see any movement through the week, I'll cap the league at 14. If we get another player we'll shoot to fill all 16 spots.

EDIT: That was quick! We've filled out all 16 spots in the league. Game on.

Just a quick reminder- our draft starts at 2 pm EDT (so ~12 minutes from this post).

Good Luck!

Welp.
