Former Virginia Tech football coach Frank Beamer will address 2019 graduates during the university's commencement 8:30 a.m., in the stadium where he coached football for 29 seasons. It will be Beamer's first commencement address at Tech. He was Radford University's spring commencement speaker in 2017.
Who was your commencement speaker? For me it was Hoda Kotb. I'll never forget how she played Enter Sandman on her iPod!
