GAMBLING LINES 2019: WEEK 13

I apologize for missing last week. I was working from home and, wouldn't you know it, working in my spare bedroom is less distracting than working in an open office floorplan and I spent a lot less time on TKP.

Last week was fun, gambling wise, but I should have cut off my betting at 3:30 games. I parlayed Bama (-21) and Florida (-7). Good thing Tua didn't get hurt earlier because Bama did jack after he went out. I also parlayed Florida ML, Tech ML, and ND (-7). Oh yeah, and I went heavy on Tech (-5.5). So far so good, right? Well, unfortunately I overlooked the curse of playing at Iowa and lost most of my winnings on the Minnesota ML. Then I thought, "surely LSU can handle a 21.5 win over lowly Ole Miss, right?" Almost. LSU won by 21. Anyway, I came out on top, just barely, but it hurts to think what if.

Don't bet, kids.

Anyway, on to this week's lines.

  • GT(-1): Holy crap. GT, coming off a 45-0 blowout and in the midst of its worst season since football was invented is still favored over NC State? How bad does NC State have to be? (checks their record). Oof, yeah they suck hard. This will probably end up being an entertaining pillow fight. I say GT has some spark as they try to bounce back from the pantsing we gave them last week.
  • anOSU (-17.5): I don't think Pedo State can pull the upset. I don't even think they can keep it close. You know anOSU's closest win this year? A 24 point win over Michigan State (and a 24 point win over FAU, coincidentally). anOSU wins and wins big. I think they want that #1 next to their name and they need to embarrass some blue bloods to do it (you're next, Michigan).
  • VT (-4): I believe that we will win. Will we beat down Pitt to the tune of 45-0? No, no we won't. I see a close one so I'm gonna play it safe with the VT ML instead of betting the spread.
  • LSU (-44): Not betting this one either way, but I absolutely love how horrible Arkansas is this year. I have cousins out there who are hardcore fans and they have always poopoo'ed us as an upstart regional team so this is glorious.
  • Wake (-6.5): Duke is in a tailspin. They just got blownout by arguably the worst team in the Atlantic. Wake is going to run roughshod over them. Wake by 3 TDs.

As always, please do not take my ramblings as legitimate gambling advice. You will lose your shirt and anything else you're foolish enough to bet based on my idiocy.
Lines may change over the course of the week. I also may have made errors copying them. Always triple check when money is at stake
TKP does not encourage gambling and even if it did, I am neither employed nor sanctioned by Orange and Maroon Media, LLC so who cares.
