#13 Maryland currently getting their doors blown off by Tennessee, which would be their second loss this week. They lost to Wisconsin on Tuesday as well.
#17 Illinois lost to Penn State which helps the Hokies in two ways. Illinois did beat #2 Texas earlier this week though.
#22 SDSU lost to Saint Mary's.
#11 Auburn lost to Memphis
#14 Indiana without their top scorer lost to #10 Arizona
#21 Creighton lost to BYU
#20 Iowa State lost to Iowa
Those are all the Top 25 losses. #20 Iowa State plays a gimme game later and #23 Mississippi State plays Minnesota. Go Gophers.
Hokies were #29 in AP Poll and #27 in Coaches Poll.
Both teams win and now each are in double digit wins.

The ladies host UNC Ashville today at 1PM. The game is on ACCNx. UNC Ashville is 4-3 with home wins against Converse, Western Carolina and Warren Wilson and a road win at Queens(NC). Their losses were at Florida and at home to Chattanooga and Furman.
The Hokies will have their usual height advantage. The Bulldogs play only one player over 6' tall, 6'3" R-Jr F Nycerra Minnis plays about 15 min/game. UNC Ashville is a relatively young team starting 2 sophomores 2 juniors and 1 senior.

The Hokies are now winners of four straight, and 9-1 on the season and just a few inches from being 10-0. The last time the Hokies started out this hot, they finished the year one Ahmed Hill 3-pointer/Chris Clarke putback from an Elite 8 appearance.

The No. 9 Lady Hokies visit the Tennessee Volunteers Dec 4 at 1PM. The game is on ESPN2 with Courtney Lyle doing play by play and Carolyn Peck and Tamika Catchings as analysts. This game is part of the Jimmy V Women's Classic.
The Lady Hokies host Nebraska in the ACC/BigTen Challenge Nov 1 at 7 PM. The game is on the ACCN. Nebraska is 5-2 with losses at #20 Creighton and Drake. Their wins were at home against Omaha, Houston Christian and Tarleton and in Puerto Rico against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and Miss State.
Nebraska has two Australians on the starting team: #34 Jr F 6'2" Isabelle Bourne and #1 Jr G 5'9" Jaz Shelley. Overall they are tall enough to compete with the Hokies. At 5'6" Amoore is going to be challenged guarding a taller opponent. Nebraska does have a 6'5" Freshman who has not played yet this year; so Kitley will, as usual, be the tallest player on the court.
The ACC/Big Ten Challenge kicked off last night.
The Hokies dismantled Minnesota 67-57.
Pitt then took it to another level destroying Northwestern 87-58.
