ESPN Radio shuffling

After SVP left radio to do the midnight Sportscenter (which debuts immediately after VT vs. OSU!), and Colin Cowherd left/got fired, ESPN Radio has been sounding a lot different.

Danny Kanell joined Ryen Russillo starting this week for the 1 PM show, which I think has greatly improved the show. RR is a little too much basketball, so Kanell will bring a lot more football. And I usually don't listen to sports radio between the Super Bowl and training camps, so I don't have to worry about how they handle the offseason.

The bigger question had been, who's taking over the Herd's time slot?

Well...it's Le Batard. http://espnmediazone.com/us/press-releases/2015/09/espn-radios-the-dan-l...

I guess that means a new night time show, which most folks probably don't hear much of, since the local stations usually have their own programming around that time.

Meanwhile, Cowherd has moved to Fox, still calling the show "The Herd". It'll be on radio and Fox Sports 1 from 12-3 PM. This could displace Rich Eisen, although I'm reading that maybe local stations will have an option over which one to put on?

Both Le Batard and Cowherd start their new shows on Tuesday.
