Hello friends and welcome to The Key Play dot com.
Why, you ask, has this website taken over your Internets today? The simple answer is Hokie football. As far as my eyes are concerned, maroon and orange are the two most beautiful colors in the world. I love, to the point of an unhealthy obsession, Virginia Tech football.
What I'm going to do.
- Provide an in depth (un)-biased analysis of Hokie Football.
- Make jokes, mostly at our own expense.
- Overreact to every single Bryan Stinespring decision.
- Overload you with statistics.
- Have fun.
- Needle UVA.
- Breakdown film.

The Grave Error Concerning ESPN College Football Live
Hello fellow hokie fans. If any of you viewed the Monday edition of College Football Live on ESPN, you should be very, very angry. One of the topics discussed on the show was a list of the nation's best defensive backs. Our all - everything corner Jayron Hosley was not mentioned. Not in the first list, not during honorable mention, not anywhere! The same Jayron who was a Playboy Preseason All-American a couple months ago. The same corner who led the nation with nine interceptions last season. The same playmaker who will most definitely enter the season with first team All-ACC honors. ESPN did all of hokie nation a huge injustice; one I will not soon forget.
Stinespring
Does Beamer have the cajones to fire Stinespring now? It's been obvious for years, but after the Michigan game it needs to be done. In OT, two running plays up the middle before Danny's catch?
Michigan couldn't cover our receivers all day, and couldn't match our speed outside and yet every time we got in the red zone we turned ultra conservative. Can you imagine the Hokies with an innovative Boise type offense?
Next year we'll have a great defense, and Logan Thomas at qb. We need a spark at OC.
Let's stop talking about it, and do it!!
