Adventures on Whiskey Lane: Episode One

Adventures on Whiskey Lane. That's right, WE'RE DOING A PODCAST Y'ALL! We're going to be annoyingly cramming kind-of funny jokes and tons of information into your eardrums via the interwebs. Why hasn't this happened already?

I don't know, but Kevin Burke (the Lee Suggs to my Kevin Jones) and I are here to make it right! Tune in every Wednesday for the entire season as we discuss football, bourbon, football, Shane Beamer, Logan Thomas and other things that (sometimes) have to do with sports. So sit back, hope you enjoy, call us idiots if you disagree with whatever we say, because lord knows someone has to keep us in check. Leave us comments, suggestions and anything we can do to make it better, because we're here for you.

whip

i don't think foster wants to have whip, fs and rover all brand new in game one, even if rvd is better.

cool

I have been wanting to do this for awhile, but never could find someone to do it with me. Look forward to tuning in every week.

Great episode

Nice job guys! Thanks for soaking up the first 37 minutes of my work day. And, thanks for scaring the shit out of me for Monday's game with all the "James Gayle not tackling anyone yet" and "having to play defense with our offense" and "our punters still sucking (occasionally)" talk.

Awesome podcast! Thanks for putting it together, guys!

Really good! I was wondering if you ending up using GarageBand or Audacity?

3rd and 10=QB sneak

We actually used both.

Kevin mixed it all, but it was recorded by the three of us (2 used GarageBand, 1 Audacity) then it was spliced together.

Beat Alabama.

also, loved the podcast, cant wait for the next one!

Just what I needed

Awesome job and thanks a million. I am a huge podcast listener. Its either technology or college football for me while I am working or walking the dogs. Even last year I was listening to a Hokies podcast that was done by a couple guys that hang this site but sadly it stopped. My Friday afternoon during the season are spent taking my dog, aptly named Hokie, on a long walk around my Seattle neighborhood in order to tire him out a little. I have to do this since instead of the Saturday of going to a park or a long walk, my ass is in a bar, in a Hokies shirt,a scowl on my face, a F bomb on my lips and a pilsner in my hand. Anyway, as Hokie and I walk around our Friday walk, I listen to CFB podcasts. I save any Hokie related ones for this time. Please keep it up because you have my Friday afternoon walk so much more pleasurable. At least until we lose a game or two.
