ACC Network and RSN affiliates for week 5 -- including VT/Pitt

Switching it up this week to show the RSN affiliates first, since it's the Hokies playing.

If you're in Virginia, look for the game on the Comcast Sports Net channel on your cable system. The link says it's on the "Plus" channel, but my FiOS guide is saying we're on the main channel, followed by Boston College vs. Duke. On FiOS, this channel is 576. The "Plus" channel is 578, and will be showing JMU and Richmond games. (The Plus channel is where the Ravens preseason games are when they play the same time as the Redskins in preseason.)

Most of the other regions showing the game will have it on the regional Fox Sports Net channel.

The ACC Network has Louisville at NC State.

Virginia viewing:
Blacksburg - WDBJ 7 (CBS)
DC/Nova - My20 WDCA
Richmond - CW Richmond 65
Tidewater - CW 27
Hooville - NBC 29
Harrisonburg - WHSV-DV4 (MyNetwork)

The only change here is that WDBJ takes over in the Blacksburg/Roanoke area from the CW station.

As usual, online options include ESPN3 and the ACC app and website.

Unless my TV guide hasn't upgraded, looks like I will be watching on fuzzy ESPN8

Plan for the worst and hope for the best, not the other way around.

If it's nearly a sport you can find it on ESPN8, the ocho!

Espn3=watch ESPn app, right?

Yes, ESPN3 is one of the "channels" on WatchESPN.

2026 Season Challenge: TBD
Previous Challenges: Star Wars (2019), Marvel (2020), Batman (2021), Wrasslin' (2022)

Fox Sports Carolinas.

Good, I get that station.

No, I *don't* want to go to the SEC. Why do you ask?

We don't love dem Hoos.

In the link ACC.com has it on MSG+, but according to my cable box (TWC NY) it's on regular MSG (no plus), but I'm sure folks can figure it out. Just search your guide for "Virginia Tech" (if you are so equipped).

Yeah, it was doing the same for the Comcast channel too.

Don't know if this has been posted before but this is a pretty good site that seems to list all the games/channels/times etc.

NESN in New England.

In Roanoke on Cox cable, it looks like it's on Comcast Sports Network,

This is going to be great for the ACC.

If you have Verizon in DC it is 576

This is stupid. WHVL in central PA plays an ACC game in the noon hour but instead of VT/Putt, which is the CLOSEST DAMN TEAM IN THE ACC, I'm going to be receiving Louisville/NCSt. This is stupid.

That's because it's a different broadcast. VT/Pitt is not an ACC Network game, while Louisville/NCSt is.

That is like complaining that ABC isn't airing the ESPNU game.

(As for why they picked Louisville/NC State for ACC Network over VT/Pitt is another rant.)

Shoot, you're right.

HELP GAME NOT ON WDBJ in Roanoke. Can't find it???

"Don't go to, go through"

Any other links for the game? Can't get it on WDBJ 7 and ESPN3 is a blacked out...
