Does Anybody know How our recruits did in the U-19 game last night? Notably QUINCY Patterson?

I only watched a little buttt, the play by play guys talked about all the Hokies on the roster, how great a job Fuente is doing and Artis has his name called for tackles, Chatman had tipped passes, punt return and a sack Quincy didn't have a lot to do the US team just ran all over Canada. Someone on twitter said he dropped a TD pass though, so he isn't a WR.

I only watched a little buttt

Let's Go

He threw about a 30 yard go route to the pylon that was dropped by the receiver who had a step or two on the db. He was essentially robbed of a td pass. The drive before that he had a wonky pass the just flipped out of his hand and I believe was ruled a fumble and allowed Canada to score their only points from that field position

Recruit Prosim

QP played the first quarter before the game opened up. We pretty much rushed at will in the first quarter and got some defensive tds. The other qbs got to throw more and open the playbook because by then we were up like 30-0.
He threw some short passes and they let him air it out a few times. He had a couple amazing throws that, though they were about 3 ft over the WRs head, they were like 40 yard bombs while on the run and not setting his feet. The commentators were wowed by how much zip he was putting on all of his throws even 40 yards down the field. The kids arm looked insanely strong so hopefully accuarcy will come with repetition. Looked like a monster running the ball as well on the few qb draws he had. Not insanely fast but what you s expect from a 230lb muscular qb.

The Bigger question is:

Does he look better than Lawson did at this stage?

Virginia Tech School of Architecture Class of 2014
Fan of Hokies, Ravens, NY Giants, Orioles

Actually when I watched Lawson in the under armour game (or army) I thought he looked insanely good. I thought QP looked huge and has a strong arm but definitely didn't have the accuracy down. That could easily be attributed to not working with the receivers much though.

I believe Lawson played in the Marine Corps All American Game with Mook Reynolds.

I love the kid. I think he will be a good QB. But, if you are expecting him to come in and start as a freshman, you will be disappointed.

"I want to punch people from UVA right in the neck." - Colin Cowherd

Dax, Anthony Grant, Jamarcus Chatman, Javeon Becton, and Baptiste. Good shot to land Dax and 1-2 of DLs, most likely Becton. Grant is a stud and would get early PT but havent heard much on that front.

Because Webb committed

Not sure why he decommitted.

Probably because he was asked to. Nicely.

If you're not sure if my comment warrants a "/s", it probably does.

May want to change the year in the thread title.

So Dax has certain focus areas that favor one school or the other proximity (VT) and academic recognition (Stanford). But how much does it way on a kid to see someone like Tremaine Edmonds enroll early into the NFL and be projected in the first round weigh on his mind? Obviously we have a system in place where he could shine...

-Semper Primus

Probably doesn't hurt. But Dax is an almost prototype MLB. Has good size, speed, instincts, vision, motor, tackling ability. If he stays healthy and continues to work hard, I don't doubt that he'll be in the NFL in 4 years, regardless of which school he chooses.

I got some beers. Let's drink 'em!

It doesn't hurt but it probably doesn't help much either. Edmunds would be an NFL player if he went to JMU.

Plus Stanford had a LB picked in the 2nd round last year, so it's not like Edmunds will trump that by much, if at all.

So apparently part of our recruiting strategy is to just offer then entire Buford (GA) HS team. Just saw we recently offered DE Ahmad Craig and DT Jalar Holley. They join their teammates RB Derrian Brown, OT Harry Miller, OG Riley Simonds, and ATH KJ Johnson as 2018 recruits with VT offers, as well as 2017 RBs Anthony Grant and Christian Turner.

I have to wonder if any of these guys are a package deal. Would be great to land some, especially Grant in this class and Simonds next year.

They are not. Buford is one of the premier programs in the country and pretty regularly produce D1 talent. Too many players go on to play college ball to produce package deals.

Good to know. Heard anything lately about Grant?

Not really. I think the shine from his visit has worn off a bit, especially because he's visited UNC and UT over the past couple of weeks. I'll ask if my guy feels any differently since last week.

It's an altered album cover. There has to be some copyright infringement involved. Especially if the art was provided by VT.

Eh, even if it was found to be a copy, it's arguably a parody and thus would fall under the fair use exception. Also, the art isn't used for profits, and thus even if the copyright owner sued, the damages to be paid would be $0.

Updated 247 composite ranks released

VT currently at 19th, pretty average for us.
Of note, Miami coming in real strong at 5th!

Clemson with I would imagine a disappointing 8th.

Bama no longer has a choke hold on the top spot as they sit at 6th.

Finally FSU with a terrible 22nd, taking a hit after the coaching turnover.

I imagine these can still change a bit, but probably not too much.

Umm how they releasing final rankings when NSD hasn't happened?

Oops, the site I took it from said final. It will still get updates from the other sites and from NSD. Good call.

Is it possible that 247 has finished with regrading recruits after senior film has come out?

"That move was slicker than a peeled onion in a bowl of snot." -Mike Burnop

Yes - 247 is done updating their personal grades. They have completed their film review and all star game review.

Not too sure. They might be done with their evaluations. I know Rivals just announced their top 250 think, and then the rest later today.

Bama and Clemson both taking smaller classes this year. Clemson has 5 composite five star recruits right now and I can assure you they are not the slightest bit disappointed in their class. Alabama will likely take a few more but they won't make it back to the top, this year, I fully expect them to ramp back up into gear next year, especially coming off another title win.

True, the classes are small, but they also have a lower average per recruit score as well. I bet the only misses really were scooped up by Georgia, who seems to have taken everyone by storm.

EDIT: Well, no you are right. With the average Clemson is 4th. And FSU is jumps to the top 10 with average recruit. Wish you could sort by average. VT unfortunately drops out of the top25 when looking at average.

No LS love it's rigged.

Wet stuff on the red stuff.

Yeah, marcb2 pointed it out earlier, but avg. recruit rank gives an overall more accurate picture, although things like having a long snapper/punter/kicker commit I think shouldn't be factored into the avg.

To me their are 3 tiers of ACC recruiting right now (based on avg recruit):
Tier 1: Miami, Clemson, FSU
Tier 2: VT, UNC, NC State, Louisville
Tier 3: GT, Cuse, Pitt, UVA, Wake, Duke, BC

In order for us to get to the playoff, we have to get closer to Tier 1 so we have the talent to compete for ACC Titles and playoff runs. Fortunately I think the Tech staff has some of the best evals in the business and can take underrated guys and develop them but we have to close the recruiting gap with the Tier 1 schools (move from 87 avg recruit to a 90-92 avg recruit. I think our location limits us to a certain extent (not as rich of recruiting grounds as Florida or where Clemson is situated) but think we have a chance to get to the 90 avg. next year if we can continue to progress in our recruiting.

Yeah, I go by average as well. I was just a bit confused reading the rankings at first. I thought it was already sorted by average.

Look at the average stars before shedding any tears for Clemson or FSU...

Yeah, as I said in another comment, I thought this was already sorted by average score. I always evaluate a class based on the average, which unfortunately usually makes our classes worse.

Yeah. Sorry. I was reading and posting on my phone. Easy to miss a post.

There's a reason it's not sorted by average by default. Class size matters too and the math behind how they determine those rankings is sound (and tracks pretty closely to average in most cases anyways)

They don't really reflect the averages very well. The rank reflects the average rank pretty much only if they have around 20 recruits.

Yeah, the reason is it's easier to baffle with bullshit with their rankings systems. The avg rating isn't perfect, but it more accurately reflects the talent level a program is recruiting.

There is a very clear explanation of what they do and why on the site. Why would they even want to baffle people? That doesn't make sense. The fact is that when you can field 80 something scholarships it's important to bring in enough players to fill all of those spots, otherwise you're gonna be filling them with walk-ons. Grading averages based on a gaussian distribution allows them to make the average score by far the most important factor (your highest recruit is weighted highest, your 20th hardly moves the needle), but also consider the fact that schools need to bring in numbers as well.

This has the added bonus that unranked specialists or random unranked players added late don't torpedo a team's ranking. Any ranking that causes a team to drop 5 spots because they signed a kicker late in the game would be rightfully derided. It may not be perferct for every single situation, but taken on the whole it's a clever way to address most of the challenges in ranking classes and provides fairly accurate rankings.

That's all great, but the avg star ratings is still the more accurate barometer of the talent in a program.

Care to elaborate on why? Provide multiple years of examples? I've seen you make this point several times but it's always just one sentence asserting it as fact.

For the record, I don't have an opinion on which one is better, but I would love to hear the reasoning behind you being so gung-ho about using a secondary rating metric that the recruiting sites themselves don't primarily promote.

Because it shows the talent that is within the program. Clemson, for example, last year had a very small class with only 14 kids coming in. This was good enough for 16th in the country, only two spots ahead of Maryland who had 28 kids in that class. I personally think that high four and five star players have such a high chance of success that 14 of them will produce more All Conference, All American and NFL players than an average class of 28 kids.

People will point to Holland Fisher, Austin Clark, Dwayne Lawson, etc... as examples of 4 stars that didn't work out. They forget Tim, Wyatt, Bucky, Jerod, all the other 4 stars that did. Just a quick look at 2013-2015 recruiting for Tech (years that guys are now leaving the program) 6 of 12 4 star guys produced for us at a solid level and/or went to the NFL. Anything below those 4 stars (numbers get a little weird with gray shirts and who you consider a significant contributor and I just took a quick look) you get around 25% being contributors, but often not at the level of those 6/12 4 stars. The hit rate is much higher and the ceiling for those players is much higher.

I understand that the more players you have, the greater the chance to find some guys that can really develop into great players, but with a class that averages a 92 or 93, the chance of success for that class is so much higher than 28 guys averaging a much lower composite score. If Clemson in this next two years hurts because of their small class then I will eat my words. But I guarantee that small class will outperform a lot of bigger classes. We already started to see some of it this year with Tee Higgins and Etienne being huge impact players for them.

Tee Higgins was not a huge impact player, but that's neither here nor there, he needs to man up his body a little before he will become as dominant as he likely will be when it's all said and done. Here is his game log, he had one big game against The Citadel and a pretty good game against South Carolina, other than that, his impact was non-existent in any of Clemson's big games.

I understand that Clemson's last class was a good example of this, but isn't there some kind of cutoff that controls for class size after 20? So essentially, Clemson's ranking last year (and other small classes over the years) are hurt by being so small despite some of them being dense with blue chip recruits. My guess (I do not claim to be a recruiting expert) is that small classes can cause depth issues (potentially) and like mentioned, if multiple of them flame out or there is attrition, it hits a smaller class harder because of simply a lack of bodies left.

Essentially my point, avg star rating definitely provides a better understanding for small classes, but most classes are 20+ so in most cases, the other rating (the one all recruiting sites choose to primarily promote) might still be better, no?

I shouldn't have said impact, I meant you saw flashes that make you say wow I don't want us to have to play against this kid. Having a small class I don't think leads to depth issues because it happens so infrequently. Which, along with the fact that it doesn't matter much once a class is >20, is why I don't think this should be such a big debate. For example, last year Michigan with 30 recruits only had a .1 higher average than FSU who had 24 recruits. Past 20 guys it gets less and less important and below 20 just doesn't happen too often.

Because their method is used to determine whether school A has a better "class" than school B, not who brought in the most talented players. USC-W is currently bringing in very high level players on average (3rd), but is ranked only 11th best in terms of its class rank.

Average score tells you about the talent level in your program, independent of what anyone else does. If I want to know if my recruiting is trending up or down, I want to track either the average score or the median score, not the class rank.

Not necessarily. The truth is somewhere in the middle. 3 5* players and 3 3* players is objectively better than just 3 5* players despite having a lower avg star rating.

Recruit Prosim

Yes but that's not a realistic scenario at all. No school is getting a small class of top end talent while there is another school getting the same amount of top end talent and then a bunch of lower 3 stars. I know I posted a long comment above and I don't necessarily enjoy this topic because it only applies when a team has a super small class of elite talent compared to an average class that is huge. As I've pointed out before, once a class hits a critical mass of about 20 guys, it starts to matter a lot less. This is just to debate FSU this year or Clemson last year. Such a small sample size I don't think this debate matters too much when it's all said and done.

I see 14 posts and I thought there would be actual interesting recruiting news

Not that big of an issue as it doesn't really have to do with what Koastal Kings said as it had to do with recruiting rankings, but bigger picture, I can relate when I see (insert number) new comments and nothing was relevant.

Side note.... this isn't a dig at you personally, kinda just looking at the grand scheme of things.

Can confirm:
Bud and some others (not Fuente, though) were in Shelby the day before yesterday to visit Dax.

That is great news. CBs haven't been shifting either after his visit which is relieving because it feels like they always shift after a visit. Considering JJB is long gone and Chatman is looking like he's heading to Miami, Dax would be a great way to end a stellar class that, for as much as we always want more talent, everybody here is super excited about.

Also, Coach Doeren from NC State was in Shelby visiting Jaylon Scott yesterday. Scott is a C/O 2019 3* LB from SHS (teammate of Dax). He's got offers from most of the North Carolina schools and I anticipate him getting MANY more. Rumor has it that he'd like to follow Dax.

Still hearing the same on Dax? Other recruiting sites have UNC back in it big time....

No way he goes to UNC. It's us and Stanford in the running.

He is enrolled in ASA College in New York. Their college calendar shows their Fall period lasting until January 31. I would suspect you see him on campus very soon.

I'm curious as to how that would work, since classes at VT started on the 16th, does he just miss two weeks, or take online courses at VT for this semester. Are there special exemptions to enroll after the semester has started ?

I think someone in another thread mentioned his JUCO school being trimester, so he's not done there, but will transfer at the end of the semester.

I've seen a 67-yard FG off a tee from Jordan Stout on Twitter, and a very shaky Brian Johnson late in the season when our (also kinda shaky) starter went down. Might be something to keep an eye on.

You're the only ones that I can talk to about this, you guys.

I got some beers. Let's drink 'em!

Committed to the Illini. Too bad, but best of luck to him.

I thought Brian Johnson did fairly well. He doesn't have a huge leg, but I thought he had potential.

On 247 they reporting Anthony Grant will NOT be visiting FSU

That makes me Jolly.

But apparently he's (Grant) is at the UNC basketball game today with Dax- per a poster on 247....

What else is there to do at UNC? It's not like they have a successful football program.

Wet stuff on the red stuff.

Thats not the point.... Grant cancelled his FSU official and is at UNC unofficially (from Georgia) to watch a B-ball game this weekend, 1.5 weeks before signing day.

Dax, who knows? I like CLT's info, but other outlets are reporting UNC is very much in it and that Dax's girlfriend just got accepted to UNC.

Guy that posted on 247 says his #sauces UNC friend say they are being told they lead for both Dax and Grant.... Once again, It's silly season, so who knows, but unofficial visits to schools not named VT this late in the cycle are usually not good omens...

As we have seen before girl friends play a major role. My UNC friends seem to think Dax is signed sealed and delivered.

What year is Jack?

People take RT's way too seriously. It's his younger brother for crying out loud. He's probably just proud of him and is simply trying to show support.

While I prefer they both would not be there, it is hilarious that their shady bball team is the only thing they can hang their hats on and they watch them lose to a mediocre nc state team at home. I would like nothing more than unc to become irrelavent in football and bball.

One of the things I will never understand until I die is how UNC on a 3-9 year can recruit at the same level at VT's 9-3 year while getting beat 59-7 by the Hokies and their fanbase legit avg. 20,000 people a home game. Fedora has to be lying because you can't be able to tell the truth and land any type of talent after this year combined with their crappy fanbase. Just doesn't make sense.

Better recuiters and a good NFL track record. Those things are important. I really think head to head success is basically meaningless to recruits.

Because ability to recruit matters and (derrp derp derrrrppp) 'winning cures everything' is a lazy, inaccurate stance on modern recruiting.

I'm not sure about better recruiters, shadier maybe? The better NFL track record slightly and some cash under the table/fake classes are literally the only things they can honestly recruit over Tech. VT has better facilities, is an actual football school, has a more passionate fanbase, and has a consistently strong program.

I'm certainly not lazy enough to think 'winning cures everything' and head-to-head wins are what sway recruits, but unless they are solely and selfishly focused on their NFL draft stock, you can't tell me someone who loves the game of football would want to go to UNC over VT.

you can't tell me someone who loves the game of football would want to go to UNC over VT.

I would suggest that's where the salesmanship comes in to play.

I agree with you on that, just seen in multiple tkp recruiting articles of recruits saying our coaching are sell it to you straightforward and honest, which i will take all day versus the sleasy salesman pitch.

Well there certainly aren't fake classes anymore at UNC, so I'm not sure what the sleaziness is. I know we like to think we are limited by our integrity and honesty, but really we just don't have as much to offer it seems. That's why top recruiters are necessary.

Yes, recruits that go to VT are special and love the game and see VT for what it is. Come on, VT is nothing more than another school that presents the same opportunity as dozens of other programs. That's where the sales pitch comes in, to convince recruits that your program is special, even if it isn't.

That's exactly the point. That's where we're likely lacking.

If you don't have an emotional attachment to a school, it's not hard to see why a kid would find the town of Chapel Hill and surrounding areas - including things like pretty favorable weather - an appealing place to spend their late teens/early 20s.

Don't forget the favorable female:male ratio. Granted that's not what Dax is looking at if he is sticking with his girlfriend, but could play in with others.

I dated and eventually married a Tarheel and spent a ton of my weekends in Chapel Hill as an undergrad. I know it is not a popular opinion among Hokies but UNC is good place to spend 4 years. Doesn't hurt that there is a shitload of talent down there - much more so than in Blacksburg. Throw in a favorable ratio - if given a chance to do it again, a young Bill Brasky would have had a tough decision.

However if I were a football player- it's a no brainer I'd go to Blacksburg. At tech as a football player you are basically a golden god whereas at UNC the students actually joke and laugh about- "why would anyone come here to play football".

There is no doubt about it. Chapel Hill is a pretty fun place. I grew up about 30 minutes west.

I guess when no one has to worry about actual school-work, it's just a 4 year party

"However if I were a football player- it's a no brainer I'd go to Blacksburg

That's what I was referring to. Chapel Hill is a great place, i almost went their over Tech for college when i was making a decision my senior year. But if I was good enough to play football D1 (only FCS and D3 for my talent level), UNC wouldn't have even been on my radar. Their students and community don't care about football, and besides their one good year in 2015, they have been irrelavent in college football for the past 20 years.

Two ways to tell a school is not football school:
1. The only time football is mentioned in student orientation to is to warn you that if you do not go to the football games you are not likely to get enough points to get basketball tickets.
2. Opposing fans have been louder at your stadium than your fans.
Carolina is not a football school.

Ohhhh. I was having flashbacks of all the bad decisions I've made for women. Dax can get started before he even graduates! FastTrak - That's how you jump start regret....

It is a natural gift I posess to create friction in sensitive situations.

Don't think there's any way Dax comes here. I think he is loving the process, enjoys the attention and likes being courted by everybody. I think he has so many CB's for different schools because after every visit he says he loves it and probably insinuates he is coming there. I think he has been going to Carolina all along and will get pounded like the rest of the Heels when they play the Hokies.

Counter argument: Dax is closest with Fuente and Foster and no matter what has happened in his recruitment, the one constant for the last 18 months is VT.

I believe he committed to us in October at the unc blowout and told the coaches to trust him.

I gotta agree. I think we are 3rd or even 4th at this point. We get at least one major heartbreak per year.

The one constant in his entire recruitment has been VT. Have some faith bro.

Using /s is for cowards.

I'm interested in 1) whether or not this is actually a committable offer at this point, and 2) what position they're recruiting him for

Is an "oral commitment" kind of like a "verbal commitment?" Cause it sounds like something that you could get fired from the today show if you asked an intern for one...

Warning: this post occasionally contains strong language (which may be unsuitable for children), unusual humor (which may be unsuitable for adults), and advanced mathematics (which may be unsuitable for liberal-arts majors)..

Just in case this was a serious question:

"Verbal" means using words, so a written offer is a verbal offer, if it is written in words. "Oral" means from the mouth, so to distinguish between written and spoken, "oral" is less ambiguous than "verbal."

"Our job as coaches is to influence young people's lives for the better in terms of fundamental skills, work ethic, and doing the right thing. Every now and again, a player actually has that effect on the coaching staff." Justin Fuente on Sam Rogers

Right, but if you get burned on a business deal and you tell your lawyer you had a verbal agreement, he's gonna say that you should have gotten it in writing.

Did we have a good shot at flipping him?

A picture is worth a thousand words. A gif is worth a million.

IIRC he may have grown up a LOLUVA fan (for some reason)... Hope he chooses football instead.

I thought it was Clemson.

Yea, his parents are Clemson alums, and he said he didn't grow up a Tech fan, unlike most people in his area. But it sounds like he really enjoyed his last two visits.

He would be a great addition, especially early in the class. He's one of my favorite OL targets. Plays mean, also wrestles which seems to give him a great understanding of leverage. Hope we get him in the boat, and we don't get McFaddened later on.

Any inside info on JBB that would get our hopes up? Hokies are still in the mix with a visit coming up

Keep calm, Gobble on

In-home visit?

All I've gathered is that his moms didn't like the BBG. Then she liked Cbus less. But, hey, if she went to Lincoln then maybe BBG looks better in comparison.

When I first read this I thought it said BBQ and you were saying she didn't like the food on their visit and that's why she didn't want him to come here

She obviously didn't stop by Due South

Sweet mercy I miss that place. All you can eat Tuesdays wrecked our plumbing.

Sweet mercy, indeed

Major Offers- Tenn, Miss St., Auburn

'Its easy to grin, when your ship comes in, and you've got the stock market beat,
but the man worthwhile, is the man who can smile, when his shorts are too tight in the seat'

Looks like a good prospect (12 P5 offers, including heavy hitters Auburn, Tenn, and Michigan State) ... but why are we offering another <6ft slot WR / DB?

The Gadfly Offense of undersized midget receivers who will inevitably catch 100 passes on the Patriots at some point will be unstoppable once finished.

So that Caleb Farley can play corner, apparently...

We made Chatman's top 4 along with Miami, UNC, and FSU. Can't link it right now but at least there is a sliver of hope left. Does anybody know if we have an in home visit left with him? Or has our recruitment essentially ended?

The placement of that Seminole logo is very disturbing.

Miami just picked up a commitment from 3* DT Jordan Miller a couple days ago. May help our chances.

I got some beers. Let's drink 'em!

Even if it doesn't help us, the fact that the kid verballed to UVA then flipped a day later once he realized Miami actually wanted him is just outstanding.

LOLUVA also lost the commitment from another kid.

He was there third highest ranked commit.

He was their 3rd highest recruit on 247 and only a slim margin away from #1. On the composite of all recruiting site's rankings, he was by far their top commit. Big loss for them (not that I'm complaining).

You're the only ones that I can talk to about this, you guys.

I honestly thought Zack Bradshaw was like a r-Fr and was like "Eh, he might be a good player down the line."

Oh no, dude's already played his entire career and I didn't even notice.

Anyone know what the original tweet was? Looks like it's been deleted, shockingly enough.

From the context I assume he bashed DJ Brown for decommitting from LOLUVA, Cam stepped in to defend his high school teammate and that set him off and led to the subsequent exchange

After seeing the decommittments from UVA I checked out their class and didn't recognize any of the names... I'm use to UVA beating us out on one or two guys I had my hopes up for each year. Can anyone confirm my suspicion that we didn't lose any high priority recruits to UVA this year? Or did I just pay less attention?

Only two kids with VT offers committed to UVA. Both low 3 stars, a DT from Florida, and a S from Virginia (who I think is a UVA legacy). I think it's safe to say we weren't too broken up over either of them.

No 4-stars at all and now listed as 61st ranked class after DJ Brown decommitment. Still waiting on Will Lawrence to sign?
Please, what is the deal with that guy? Is he real or will he be one of those guys that has been playing all of the recruit services with make believe offers? Something just doesn't seem right.

He got the offers like freshman year and obviously didn't progress as expected

I know crystal balls potentially a week out are misleading, but Steve Wiltfong just switched his CB for Dax from Stanford back to Virginia Tech. Here's to hoping for a solid close with Dax and either Grant, JJB, or Chatman to join him.

I'd be thrilled with Becton, Dax, and one more of those guys. I certainly wish we could have gotten JJB in the early signing period and don't feel great about the chances there. Grant has been quiet that I have no idea what to expect. Obviously we're making a big push for Chatman but I feel like it's going to be really tough to beat out FSU and Miami.

Joffrey, Cersei, Ilyn Payne, the Hound, Jeff Jagodzinski, Paul Johnson, Pat Narduzzi.

Whats the saying?....good news is good news? Ya thats it.

Nah it's more like "Hes definitely going to FSU"

I'm just trying not to get my hopes up.

Yeah I think you're probably right. Just holding out hope because he'd be a great late addition at a position of need.

My buddy just text me and said Dax is visiting VT this weekend after his UNC in home? Can any gurus confirm? If true, than that has me feeling real good about our chances.

In Sam Rogers we trust.

That's the word from Wiltfong.

Big if true

Recruit Prosim

We have known all along that Dax likes being recruited. He also mentions that Bud has told him specifically that he has recruited harder than anyone before. That means a lot to him. He will be a Hokie.

They were literally here last week...

With that said, I stand by my statements from previous weeks. He'll be a Hokie. He's just enjoying the process,

I heard he isn't even meeting with the coaches, but the campus tour guides were short on volunteers and Dax is filling in.

Come to Blacksburg and see what the Hokie Pokie is really all about

That would be cool as shit
