The Hokies received some unexpected news on Tuesday evening, quarterback DeJuan Ellis de-committed from Virginia Tech's 2018 recruiting class. He was intent to pursue offers as athlete after he blazed up the turf and earned fastest man honors at The D.C. Opening regional. However, a mere two days later, the 5-11, 160 pound, 3-star McDonogh School product turned 180° and re-pledged to Tech.
