Virginia Tech went 10-2-1 the year before Frank Beamer took over from Bill Dooley, the winningest coach in VT history before Beamer. Dooley established a winning tradition at VT. Brent Pry did not.
Targeting is only a penalty when the wind is blowing from the northwest or Southeast.
Its literally the most random enforcement ever.. and it's doing nothing to protect players.
Either make it a standardized call or get rid of it if you're too stupid to enforce it
While I dont think Whit's time will last much longer, Whit didn't recruit all the wrong players, and Whit wasn't responsible for coaching them.
That said, everyone associated with the football program needs to be playing like its their last, because it probably is.
