You were speaking on behalf of a large group of people, rather than just yourself. Then again, to understand that, they would have to understand your role. I didn't even speak out against the resolution. I asked the Board to consider that the haste with which they moved on this priority should cause them to reflect when other priorities are brought forward. And all these nitwits heard was "faculty don't like football and say they're poor." No good deed goes unpunished! It doesn't bother me; such is the price of leadership.
