So reading from reporters if/when Pry gets fired a 30 day period opens where players can transfer, if they haven't played 4 games they can count this year as a redshirt. How gutted would the roster be for new coach if Pry is fired Monday?

I know I'm shitposting tonight about the staff, but these are things I've personally heard and things from behind paywalls that I'm synthesizing and honestly they probably wouldn't mind shared at this point. But I want this to be known:

1) we had total clowns in office in our program, and (I'm finally going there!) Tim Sands was not the hero for athletics. The guy is a great academic type but he sucks at making a decision or caring about athletics. Everything recently is because the heat is ratcheting up. And he is retiring in 2027. Too many goddamn people trying to Walz into the sunset with VT.

There is light coming. I promise yall, Mehul who has poured his heart and soul into this program and the big guns here are basically doing a hostile takeover. That is what you are seeing, and the people exposed are showing their true character. The Blacksburg country club is being exposed. If you poke the bear and take this to the BOV, expect hell to pay if you suck.

Sorry about the worst VT loss in history AI thingy. I am not sure what the worst ever is, but did find this from an article after the Fuente Duke loss, so it might be this 49-12 or this may be close:

"If that sounds like a historically bad defeat, you're right. That marks the worst home loss for Tech since 1974 -- 45 years ago -- when Houston won at Lane Stadium 49-12. That's 13 years before Beamer took over the team and made it a routine top-25 program. Moreover, it's also the third win for the Blue Devils against the Hokies in the past seven years. Prior to 2013, Due had not beaten Virginia Tech since 1981 -- though they had not played routinely as members of the ACC until 2004.

The point being, this is closing in on a rock-bottom loss for Virginia Tech coach Justin Fuente. As Paul Myerberg of USA Today notes, such blowout losses have become more commonplace for the Hokies under Fuente over the past year: "
