In fairness. Was there ever much doubt GA would win this? At 27-13, I thought there was a chance for GT to win, but never felt it was likely.

Kirby Smart is really happy that conference champs get in the playoffs no questions asked now.
Regardless of how this ends up, I'm just angrier at how our season went. When we play to our full potential we are easily a top 25 team, if not more.
Need another long, time-consuming drive and FG for GT.

Yep, totally agree. My dream scenario - which I know will not happen, I'm just dreaming - was 4, 16 team regional super conferences. 1 each in the northeast, southeast, midwest and west. None of this Rutgers and UCLA and Virginia Tech and Stanford are in the same conference. Each have 2 8 team divisions. At the end of the year, the division winners play each other and the winner gets an automatic bid to an 8 team playoffs. The other 4 are at-large bids but they have to be ranked in the top 10. And if the highest ranked team that is not in one of the super conferences is in the top 10, they have to be picked.
Oh well. What can you do?

No chance that GT wins this. 0. Absolute 0. 0 on the Kelvin Scale. And no, there is no way I would say this as a way to appease the evil sports gods to somehow let GT win. I would never do that.
