Yeah nobody from Tech would ever do anything mean to a dog . . .
I see us taking away the deep ball and keeping the ball in front of the secondary. Syracuse may get toward the red zone a few times with methodical short-yardage gains, but as was alluded to in the Syracuse Q&A, the defense should stop them there and Settle for FGs. The touchdown may come in garbage time or on a busted play a la ECU.
Especially after Connor truck-sticks 2 'Hoos. In my mind, that gets you another 2 carries in a row until you score a TD or they stop you.
UVA fans give you a toothbrush and a packet of raisins for Halloween after giving you a hard time about your costume.
Great optimism!
Sorry about that, thought I typed in the half but the keyboard gets iffy at times.
Do you really think we'll give up that many points?
Well, ESPN college football coverage sure has changed since then. How about those suits and a young Kirk?
2 minutes to go...
...in the half. Scared me for a second.
Pitt tries to pass a lot for a team that has good running backs and can't pass.
NC State and Clemson are tied at 3 with 2 minutes to go. Gotta give NCS D credit for stopping Clemson at the goal line and all the penalties the offense has.
Yass!
How about the 2000 win at the carrier dome? That's a classic one.
Vick led the Hokies back from a 14–0 deficit against Syracuse at the Carrier Dome—where the Hokies had not won since 1986. Vick put the game away with a 55-yard run with 1:34 left. (Excerpt via wikipedia!)
Ugh! I hated watching that touchdown! Leg for reminding me of that game again. Lol
We get a ton of college games on the Roku through WatchESPN; every VT game can be watched this way. There's a catch; you have to be able to sign in through somebody's cable login. (The mother in law across the state hooks up all her kids across the country with hers.)
Sling is like $22 a month for basic cable, but only a couple ESPN channels. The WatchESPN Stream is better than Sling (less choppy/ interruptions), not sure if that's how everybody feels but it seems like we had to stop using the Sling app to watch football games last year because it wasn't working very well.
When I had cable I would still have to stream a couple VT games a year anyway (I live in Ohio).
Got you covered!

The fact that it seems plausible is what matters
We use it instead of cable. The syncing can be iffy sometimes, but overall no complaints as far as content. I linked it to WatchESPN which tends to have the ABC games whereas the Sling app itself doesn't.
I'm more afraid of this game than I should be. Duke 2013 has scarred me. #Neverforget.
That very specific reference could backfire should it come up in a conversation.
I hear those jerks don't allow ice cream at their school.
420 is awesome, but I like their IPA better.
Yea! Good teams only fumble 5 times.
Seriously generous offer - thanks! I will try this sling.tv trial and report back if all fails.
I picked up a great bunch of craft brews, I am looking forward to watching Bud make orange juice from my own couch!
This is truly the darkest timeline.
I think I'll try this. Been mulling the cord cutting, and I want to watch the game. Do you use this yourself, any testimonials?

Just got a growler of Pineapple Empress. Sour IPA from Crooked Run Brewing in Leesburg. Best part is that the brewery is a 5 minute walk from my house!
